Dee worked on researching therapies for ischemia reperfusion injury, specifically for heart attack and stroke.

Ole Maas (Visiting Medical Student)
Ole completed his MD thesis in the lab. He is now a Consultant at the Nuclear Medicine Department, Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen, Switzerland.
John Mulvey (PhD student)
John completed his PhD in the lab, funded by a School of Clinical Medicine MRC/Raymond and Beverly Sackler fund prize studentship. He currently works in the Transplant Research group at the University of Oxford.
Takanori Nishimura (Visiting researcher)
Taka worked with the MTG group for several years and is now back in Japan working for Takeda Pharmaceuticals

Ana-Mishel is currently a post-doctoral research fellow in the College of Medicine at the Unversity of Edinburgh
Tiziana Rosa (PhD student)
Tiziana completed her PhD in the lab as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher funded by the European Union within the research network RADOX-ITN. She then obtained an Executive Master in Management of Research, Innovation and Technology at MIP Graduate School of Business (Milano). Tiziana is currently managing new and existing R&D programs at Gain Therapeutics, a biotech startup company active in the field of protein misfolding diseases.

Matthias is currently a lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology at the National Veterinary School of Alfort (Paris, France).
Marleen Forkink (Postdoctoral Researcher)
Marleen is now living in the Netherlands (Nijmegen) and is currently working as a pharmacovigilance manager at a pharmaceutical company called Synthon.
Guido Buonincontri (Postdoctoral Fellow)
Guido is currently working as a MR Scientist for Siemens, Scientific Partnerships Team, EMEA region.
While in the Krieg lab, Guido worked on advanced MRI techniques for experimental models of cardiovascular disease.
He later focussed on the development of novel techniques to improve the reliability of quantitative MRI.
Chou-Hui Hu (MPhil student/Research Assistant)
Chou-Hui completed her MPhil in the lab, funded by Taiwanese Government Scholarships. She is currently working in Amarex Taiwan LLC, a Taiwan office of Amarex Clinical Research LLC.
Stephen Linderman (Visiting MPhil student)
Steve was in the Krieg Lab in 2010-11, where he studied the mitochondrial mechanisms of cardioprotection by adenosine A2B receptor activation as part of his MPhil in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics. Since leaving Cambridge, Steve completed his MD-PhD in biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. He is now pursuing cardiology fellowship and post-doctoral research on biomaterial development for cardiovascular repair and regeneration at Emory University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Sling Health, a non-profit biotechnology incubator working across several academic institutions in the United States.
