Tiziana completed her PhD in the lab as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher funded by the European Union within the research network RADOX-ITN. She then obtained an Executive Master in Management of Research, Innovation and Technology at MIP Graduate School of Business (Milano). Tiziana is currently managing new and existing R&D programs at Gain Therapeutics, a biotech startup company active in the field of protein misfolding diseases.

Guido is currently working as a MR Scientist for Siemens, Scientific Partnerships Team, EMEA region.
While in the Krieg lab, Guido worked on advanced MRI techniques for experimental models of cardiovascular disease.
He later focussed on the development of novel techniques to improve the reliability of quantitative MRI.

Stephen Linderman (Visiting MPhil student)
Steve was in the Krieg Lab in 2010-11, where he studied the mitochondrial mechanisms of cardioprotection by adenosine A2B receptor activation as part of his MPhil in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics. Since leaving Cambridge, Steve completed his MD-PhD in biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. He is now pursuing cardiology fellowship and post-doctoral research on biomaterial development for cardiovascular repair and regeneration at Emory University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Sling Health, a non-profit biotechnology incubator working across several academic institutions in the United States.
